Origins

The Festival was created in 2008 by Swingtime in order to brings together musician artists, dancers, and visual artists around this Swing culture, and allows for wonderful meetings & Jams.
One goal: makes connections with each other and share different points of view...

Now

This vibrant gathering has since grown into a beloved annual and international event, offering diverse workshops led by multiple professionals. Its lively atmosphere features captivating performances and spontaneous jam sessions, fostering a sense of community. Additionally, exhibitions showcase visual arists inspired by swing dance, highlighting its timeless essence.

Creation of the Swing Art Festival featuring with a collection of music and dance associations in Bordeaux, showcasing the evolution of dance through various styles, including Salsa, African Dance, Tap, and Lindy Hop

Creation of a Fashion Show with local creators + adding Capoeira dance to the mix of dances in the Festival
